Create a dashboard

CallStudio allows you to create custom dashboards to visualize the data stored in the analytics database. Dashboards can be shared with other users in your organization.

Key Concepts​

  • Dashboard - A dashboard is a collection of panels that can be shared with other users in your organization.
  • Panel - A panel is a visualization of the data stored in the analytics database. Each panel can be configured to display a different visualization of the data.

Creating a Dashboard​

To create a new dashboard, follow the following steps:

  1. Click the Dashboards button in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Create Dashboard button.
  3. Enter a name for the dashboard.
  4. Click the Create button.

This will create a new dashboard with no panels.

Adding a Panel​

To add a new panel to a dashboard, follow the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the exploration playground by clicking the Explore button in the navigation bar.
  2. Select the applicable dimensions, filters, and measures.
  3. Select the applicable chart type.
  4. Click the Add to Dashboard button.
  5. Select the dashboard you want to add the panel to.
  6. Enter a name for the panel.
  7. Click the Add button.

This will add a new panel to the dashboard with the selected visualization.

Real-Time Dashboards​

To view real-time data, you can enable the real-time mode for a dashboard. This will automatically refresh the dashboard to view the last few minutes of data.
