Creating analytics reports

CallStudio allows you to create custom reports to generate reports at any time.

Generating a quick report

You must first create a dashboard before you can generate a report. If you have not created a dashboard yet, please follow the steps outlined in Create a dashboard.

You can generate a new report by following the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the relevant dashboard by clicking the Dashboards button in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Generate Report button.
  3. Give your report a name and perhaps a description.
  4. Set the report type to Snapshot and Select the applicable date range.
  5. Select the relevant panels.
  6. Click the Generate button.

This will open a new composition window with the selected panels. You can now add additional content to the report. For example, you can add a title, a description, arrange the panels, and add additional text. Once you are satisfied with the report, you can click the Save button to save the report. This will save the report. You can also directly download the report as a PDF by clicking the Export -> PDF button.

Scheduled reports

You can schedule reports to be generated at a specific time. This allows you to automatically generate reports at the end of each month, for example. To schedule a report, follow the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the relevant dashboard by clicking the Dashboards button in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Generate Report button.
  3. Give your report a name and perhaps a description.
  4. Set the report type to Scheduled and choose the schedule policy (e.g., Quarterly, Monthly, etc.).
  5. Select the relevant panels.
  6. Click the Generate button.

Here you can customise your report by adding a title, description, and layout. Once complete, you can click the Save button. To publish the report, you must click the Publish button. CallStudio will now automatically generate the report according to the schedule policy you selected.

You can find your reports by clicking the Reports button in the navigation bar. Here you can view all your reports and download them as PDFs.

Viewing snapshots

You can view snapshots of your reports by clicking the Snapshots tab. Here you can view all the snapshots of your reports and download them as PDFs.

Viewing the scheduled reports

You can view the scheduled reports by clicking the Scheduled tab. Here you can view all the scheduled reports and edit them.
